Singing seems to be Maryam Nawaz Sharif's hidden talent
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently made headlines after few videos of her crooning to several Bollywood numbers made rounds on social media. Recently, the wedding celebrations of Muhammad Junaid Safdar, Maryam's son and the grandson of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, began in Lahore.
Junaid, who tied the knot with Ayesha Saif Khan in August in London, reached Pakistan for his wedding festivities. The celebrations kicked off with a dholki night where many members of the Sharif clan tried their hand at singing. Maryam crooned to Bollywood hit tracks, Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko (Yaadon Ki Baarat, 1973) and Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye (Jurm, 1990).
The videos went viral on social media.
The highly-anticipated Nikkah ceremony of Junaid was held with full pomp and splendour in London on August 22. He tied the knot with Ayesha Saif Khan at The Lanesborough, an elite five-star hotel on the Hyde Park Corner in Knightsbridge. Ayesha is the daughter of the PML-N chief’s close aid Saifur Rahman Khan.
