Sports: Islamabadis demand playgrounds

Capital Development Authority official said they were in the process of creating more playgrounds in the city.

ISLAMABAD: Residents of different sectors of the federal capital have complained that there is shortage of playgrounds indifferent localities which has forced the youngsters to play on roads and streets. Majid Khan a resident of sector G-8, said Tuesday that football is his favourite game but there is no proper place near his residence where he can play. A group of parents said they do not allow their kids to play on the streets as it can be dangerous. A Capital Development Authority official said they were in the process of creating more playgrounds in the city.
