Court accepts challan in murder case against SHO

Suspects will be charged on next hearing of the case

The Malir sessions court has accepted the challan in the murder case against former SHO PIB Colony Haroon Korai and others.

The suspects will be charged at the next hearing.

The murder case against former PIB Colony SHO, Inspector Haroon Korai and others was heard before the additional district and sessions judge in Malir Court.

The investigation police presented the final challan of the case. The challan said that Fazlur Rehman was killed for giving a tipoff on the supply of betel nut.

On September 17, the body of Fazlur Rehman was recovered from Link Road of Samundari Baba Mazar.

A woman named Fauzia was arrested on the information of a special informant after the statements of the victim's brother and witnesses were recorded. Videos of the incident were recovered from the mobile phone of accused Fauzia.

Fauzia disclosed during interrogation that former SHO PIB Colony Inspector Haroon Korai, accused Usman alias Major and other suspects were involved in the murder.

The suspects, including SHO Inspector Haroon Korai, were arrested from Char Minar Chowrangi, Bahadarabad on the indication of the accused.

The former SHO PIB Colony confessed to his involvement in the murder.
