Billing Back: Campaign against defaulters

Private sector owes Rs140 billion , while government departments have to pay Rs102 billion.

FAISALABAD: The federal Ministry of Water and Power has asked all electricity distribution companies to ensure the speedy recovery from defaulters. According to ministry officials, Rs140 billion are owed to the water and power agencies in the private sector, while government departments have to pay Rs102 billion. The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) chief executive Tariq Mehmood Chattha said that Fesco had chalked out a strategy to ensure 100 per cent recovery of all dues.
