Armed attack: Outlaws raid a police picket

SUKKUR: A group of armed outlaws raided a police picket in the limits of Dadlo police station near Pano Akil, killing a policeman on late Monday night. The men also took away two G-3 rifles. The men, armed with sophisticated weapons, raided Kouro Khan Korai police picket and overpowered two policemen, Mohammad Ali Bullo and Menhoon Khan Bullo. The policemen resisted when the men tried to snatch rifles from them upon which they were shot, and constable Bullo died. A heavy contingent of police chased the culprits to a katcha area. But the men could not be found. SHO Pannu Aqil Amanullah Shah was hopeful that an extensive search will yield positive results by Tuesday night. Bullo was laid to rest in Pir Tajo graveyard near Kot Bullo.
