Ravi City catches Saudi attention

Investment firm’s chairman informed about start of work in Sapphire Bay

LAHORE:

Ravi City will be the world’s biggest environment-friendly riverfront city, commercial construction in the Central Business District (CBD) will be a gold mine for investors, while work in Sapphire Bay will be initiated in coming days, Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) Chief Executive Officer Imran Ameen informed a delegation from a Saudi Arabian investment company.

Khalid Abdul-Aziz Al Mogbel, Chairman of Sarh Attaqnia Co, a Ravi City investment company, met the PUDA leadership at the authority’s headquarters along with All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) member Gohar Ejaz. The RUDA leadership thoroughly briefed the delegation on the first phase of Ravi City -- Sapphire Bay -- and its construction plans.

RUDA Executive Director Commercial Kashif Qureshi initiated the briefing and said that Sapphire Bay, a 2,000 acres project with barrages and lakes, will be the inception of an environment-friendly era. He added that various zones like Knowledge City, Medical City and Industrial Zone will present attractive investment opportunities.

Executive Director Engineering Bilal Ahmed informed the delegation about Zone-2 and Zone-3 of Ravi City project, saying they would have model constructions of a modern era.
