ECP revises electoral rolls in Hazara Divison

Revision campaign was in full swing in all 8 districts of Hazara division

ABBOTABAD:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) regional office Hazara division started the Periodical Revision of Electoral Rolls (PRER) on Tuesday. The constitutional body also appointed an Assistant Registration Officer, Supervisors, and Verifying Officials in this regard.

According to the ECP notification, the revision campaign was in full swing in all 8 districts of the Hazara division, much like in other parts of the country.

At this stage, a door-to-door verification process was going on since November 7, which would continue till December 6 - 30 days without any interruption.

The verifying officials were visiting the assigned Electoral Areas/ Census blocks for verification of voters.

The ECP regional office had urged the public to cooperate with officials who were performing their assigned duties by registering their votes in accordance with the temporary or permanent address mentioned in the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
