Vintage & classic cars dazzle Peshawarites

There were more than 30 vehicles in the rally

PESHAWAR:

The participants of 12th Vintage and Classic Car Rally, 2021 on Saturday reached Michni, Khyber tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) from Peshawar’s Balahisar Fort.

There were more than 30 vehicles in the rally including classic vintage cars like Mercedes, Chevrolet, VW, Land Rover in addition to other vehicles. Old and classic car’s enthusiasts from K-P participated in the rally with their cars. The organisers said that the vintage car rally would play an important role in projecting a positive and soft image of K-P province and Pakistan in the world which will ultimately promote tourism in the region.

While the guests who came to see the rally said that it is a commendable process to keep the ancient and rare vehicles in good condition. Such events should be held every year as it will promote tourism in the area. The purpose of holding car rallies in different parts of the country was to provide entertainment opportunities to car enthusiasts as well as general public.

A large number of locals had assembled to watch the classic cars in the rally and they greatly appreciated the efforts of the government in this regard.
