The Ramna police have registered an FIR in the rape and murder case of an 11-year-old girl and two security guards of the metro bus station have been taken into custody for questioning.

The police said that a blind murder has been registered and investigation has been broadened and more sections will be added to the murder case after the post-mortem report was received.

The body of an 11-old girl, K*, who had been raped and killed, was found near a metro bus station in Sector G-11 in Islamabad on Monday.

A preliminary post-mortem examination of the victim at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences revealed that she had been raped and murdered.

The Ramna police had found the body of the girl near the metro bus station in Sector G-11. The police had moved took the body to the PIMS. According to the preliminary post-mortem report, the victim also had wounds on her body. The body of the victim could not be identified so far and it had been kept at the PIMS.

A three-member medical board at the PIMS has also decided to carry out a forensic examination of the victim as the police have collected evidence from the crime scene.
