Lakson Investments Limited on Friday won the prestigious Gender Diversity at Workplace Award 2021 at the CFA Society Pakistan’s 18th Annual Excellence Awards.
The award was given in recognition of the company’s efforts to provide an enabling and supportive environment for women to work and build career.
Lakson Investments Limited Executive Director Kashif Mustafa received the award from Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin. Tarin presented the award on behalf of CFA Society Pakistan.
Lakson Investments won the award in the category of Non-Banking Financial Corporations (NBFCs).
CFA Society Pakistan gave awards in six categories including gender diversity at workplace, corporate finance, investor relationship, brokerage, best equity research and banking.
According to the CFA Society Pakistan, the Gender Diversity at Workplace Award acknowledges the efforts being made by companies to create an enabling and inclusive workplace for women.
The award raises awareness of the issue locally since gender diversity remains largely overlooked even by the best corporate citizens. The awards recognise the achievements of participants on a global platform.
