Zara Tareen all set to tie the knot with ‘Iron Man’ actor Faran Tahir

The couple kicked off wedding festivities with an intimate Mehendi ceremony

Actor Zara Tareen is all set to tie the knot with Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir, known for his roles in Hollywood blockbusters like Iron Man and Star Trek. The couple kicked off their wedding festivities with an intimate Mehendi ceremony, complete with marigolds and lots of smiles. 

Pictures from the event were shared by Zara’s sister, actor Hira Tareen on Instagram. She posted pictures of the couple, with Zara dressed in a green and gold gharara and Faran donning an off-white kurta-shalwar and matching shawl combo. Hira wrote in the caption, “The festivities begin for the wedding of my beautiful sister Zara and equally beautiful and awesome human being jijoo Faran Tahir! Two loving families unite. Faran commented underneath the post, “I am the winner here. Not only did [I] find my heart’s peace, I have become part of the most beautiful family,” with Zara commenting with a heart emoji.

Hira wore a blue Hussain Rehar pishwas, complete with gota work and a pink dupatta. The event was also attended by Hira’s husband actor Ali Safina, with whom she tied the knot in 2013.
