Covid jab proof ‘a must’ for travelling to US

CDC announced vaccines acceptable for admission to US include those approved by DRA, WHO

ISLAMABAD:

In accordance with the latest travel conditions, the United States of America has made it mandatory for all incoming foreign passengers to provide “proof of Covid vaccination” before boarding a flight to the US.

According to the US Embassy in Pakistan, the new global travel system will be an alternative to the individual restrictions imposed by different countries.

The US Center for Diseases Control (CDC) has announced that vaccines acceptable for admission to the United States include vaccines approved by the Federal Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA) or those authorised for emergency use by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The test is supposed to be taken three days before departure to the US.

These conditions apply to all passengers travelling to the United States, including US citizens, LPRs, and foreigners.
