NCOC chief appreciates 'positive impact' of vaccinations, urges people to continue getting vaccinated
ISLAMABAD:
National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) chief Asad Umar said on Wednesday said that Pakistan now has the lowest Covid-19 positivity ratio ever since the government started measuring the infection in the country.
The minister took to his official Twitter account to make the announcement, adding that the country currently had the lowest number of patients in critical care as well as the lowest mortality in a year.
Alhamdulillah we now have lowest positivity ratio since we started measuring covid. Also have lowest patients on critical care & lowest daily mortality in a year. Positive impact of vaccination showing but vaccination drive must continue. Globally 7,500 died of covid yesterday.

According to the NCOC, the current positivity rate of the country is 1.34% with 516 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours. At least 13 people passed away while 1,445 are in critical care.
