KARACHI:

Police claimed to have arrested two injured dacoits after an alleged encounter and recovered weapons and a stolen motorcycle from their possession.

Shah Latif Town police arrested the alleged dacoits at near Port Qasim Chowrangi on Monday morning.

The injured robbers were taken to Shah Latif Police Station and then to JPMC.

According to police, the injured robbers were identified as Irshad, 35, and Ali Raza, 26. Other accomplices of the arrested suspects escaped.

Two 30 bore TT pistols with seven rounds, five valuable mobile phones, cash and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the arrested suspects.
