Twitter overjoyed as Pakistan beat India in historic encounter
The jinx is finally over. Pakistan have beaten India in a World Cup encounter, bringing jubilation to the entire country.
Skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan cruised the run-chase without any hassle after they restricted arch-rivals to 151/7.
Pacer Shaheen Shah started the proceedings for Pakistan in some fashion after skipper Babar Azam opted to field first. He trapped India's vice-captain Rohit Sharma for a golden duck and rattled KL Rahul's stumps in his following over as India were teetering at 6/2.

Personalities from all spheres of life took to Twitter to express their feeling on this historic occasion.
Soon after Pakistan crossed the line, Prime Minister Imran Khan felicitated the team.
"Congratulations to the Pakistan Team & esp[ecially] to Babar Azam who led from the front, as well as to the brilliant performances of Rizwan & Shaheen Afridi. The nation is proud of you all," the premier wrote.

President Dr Arif Alvi also congratulated Pakistan cricket team over their 10 wicket victory against India.
In a tweet on social media platform Twitter, he said, “Congratulations Green Shirts. Total Wipeout. A win by 10 wickets. You make us proud. A good match. Tremendous batting by Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. What a pleasure to see total dominance. Going towards a good ending.”
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded the outstanding performance and comprehensive win against India.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja also lauded the efforts of the boys, saying that the journey had just begun.
PCB, on its official Twitter handle, shared the "perfect" selfie, taken earlier by chief destroyer Shaheen Afridi.
Planning and Special Initiatives Minister Asad Umar advised not to let Indians go without offer them "tea".
Babar Azam's father couldn't hold his emotions.
