The nation celebrated Eid Miladun Nabi on Tuesday with traditional zeal and fervour while renewing the pledge to transform their lives in line with the Islamic principles and disseminate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The day dawned with 31 and 21 gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals respectively, following a night of Mahafil-e-Naat and conferences across the country.
Special prayers were offered in mosques for upholding and flourishing of Islam and religious teachings, unity, solidarity, progress, and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.
Streets and roads, as well as shopping centres, government and private buildings across the country were beautifully decorated and illuminated with lights, colours and banners bearing writings about the celebration of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH).
