Polling for reserved seats in the second phase of Karachi Cantonment Board elections will be held on October 26. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate was elected unopposed for the minority seat in the Karachi Cantonment Board.

A total of 24 candidates will contest for seven reserved seats of the Cantonment Board out of which 14 candidates are contesting for four minority seats while 10 candidates are contesting for the women and youth seats. The Clifton Cantonment Board minority seat will be contested by three candidates.

There will be a contest between four candidates for the farmers, labourers, women and youth seats. There are two candidates in the fray for the minority seat in Faisal Cantonment Board. There will be a contest between three candidates for farmer, labourer, woman, youth seat.

There are three candidates in the fray for Karachi Cantonment Board farmers, workers, women and youth seats. Three candidates have filed nomination papers for the minority seat in Cantonment Board Korangi Creek (CBKC).

There will be a contest between six candidates for the minority seat in Cantonment Board Malir (CBM). PTI has no candidate for the two reserved seats of Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC), Korangi Creek and Malir Cantt Boards. Jamaate-Islami (JI) and PTI are contesting for two reserved seats in Faisal Cantt Board. The PPP, JI, and PTI candidates are vying for two CBC seats. The MQM and PPP candidates are vying for two reserved seats in Korangi Creek and Malir Cantonment Board.
