In a first, Saba Qamar and Sonya Hussain are all set to star as police officers in their upcoming drama. The drama, penned by Umera Ahmed will revolve around a policewoman hunting for a serial killer. While the Cheek star shared the title of the show, Sonya is yet to unveil the title of her upcoming project.
"I am very elated to announce my new project, Serial Killer," Saba shared in an Instagram post while sharing her look. "Couldn't say no to another promising script after Maat, written and offered by our intellectual genius." Soon after her post, fellow actors Rabia Butt, Zara Noor Abbas and Mehwish Hayat wished Saba the best for her upcoming show.
On the other hand, the Saraab star shared, "Female police officers are unbelievably underrated for their strength and they deserve more representation! It gives me great honour to be announcing my next disposition, SP Sara Sikandar!"
She added, "Penned by the unmatchable, Umera Ahmed and directed by somebody I respect a lot and have been meaning to work with, Adnan Sarwar. Get ready to welcome a character I am more than delighted to share with you guys, very soon!"
We can't wait to see what the actors have to offer in their next projects.
