Police arrest doctor for ‘abducting plaintiff’

Dr Nazim took the victim to his house and tied her to his two wheeler using chains

Police on Monday arrested a doctor for allegedly abducting a female plaintiff after she refused to testify in favour of him in a police case. Reportedly, police recovered the victim, the wife of Manzoor and a resident of Chak No 384GB, and registered a case against the alleged abductor.

According to the police report, Dr Nazim Mujahid, a resident of Jaranwala Road, Faisal Town, called the plaintiff of a case registered at Rodala police station to testify in favour of him. However, the female plaintiff refused to testify for the doctor. The deranged suspect allegedly abducted the plaintiff. Reportedly, Dr Nazim took the victim to his house and locked her up.

Dr Nazim tied her with his motorcycle using chains. Meanwhile, police received information about the abduction. A police team led by ASI Zafar Khan and including officers Riaz Hussain and Tariq reached the crime scene. The police team rescued the abducted plaintiff, arrested the doctor and registered a case. Proceedings were initiated against the alleged abductor. According to the police officials, the victim had registered a case against the close relatives of Dr Nazim.
