Governor, PTI lawmakers take test ride on Greenline bus

We will open the Greenline bus service to the people after completing the remaining work, says Sindh Governor

One of the newly imported Greenline Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project buses hauled Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and other dignitaries from Sea Breeze Plaza in Saddar to Hyderi Market in North Nazimabad for a test run of the vehicle and the track.

The governor was accompanied by MNA Aftab Ahmed Siddiqui, MPAs Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Haleem Adil Sheikh, Khurram Sher Zaman and Bilal Ahmed Ghaffar besides Ashraf Qureshi and Adnan Ismail.

On the occasion, the officials of the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company (SIDCL) gave a detailed briefing to the Sindh governor regarding the progress and completion of the project.

The governor was briefed about the facilities provided inside the Greenline Bus including automatic location system, real time passenger information, surveillance cameras, auto door system, comfortable modular seats, air conditioning system and digital screen.

Talking to media, Ismail said: “I have carried out the dry-run of the bus today and after completing the remaining work, we will open the Greenline bus service to the people.
