Four booked for dodging vaccine

Official says action will be taken against those fleeing vaccination centres sans inoculation

MUZAFFARGARH:

At least four unvaccinated persons including a woman fled from the vaccination centre after filling dosage entry, in-charge of vaccination centre Zubair Qadir said adding that they were caught by the cops.

The in-charge of the vaccination centre said on Thursday he immediately called the cops to intervene. The police nabbed the suspects and took them into custody.

Those detained were identified as Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Sarfraz, Muhammad Jalal and Azeezan Mai. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Jitoi Arshad said stern action would be taken against the people who fled the vaccination centre without getting inoculated.

“Vaccination is a national obligation and the public should get their required dosages as per schedule to avoid the viral infection,” he stated.
