LARKANA: The Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) medical superintendent has written to the Larkana SSP for police security at all hospital blocks. The request was made to counter the escalation in mobile phone snatchings and the harassment of doctors, paramedics and other staff by the attendants and outsiders. The MS has requested that police pickets be set up. CMCH’s principal also wrote to the Larkana DPO on Saturday, requesting security. Some members of the Jatoi clan allegedly got into a fight with the staff, breaking windowpanes and energy savers.
