MALAKAND:

The Counter Terrorism Department apprehended a high value target in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand district on Monday.

According to CTD spokesperson, the arrested militant had a bounty of two million rupees on his head. However, it is unclear whether the CTD will receive the bounty money after the successful arrest of the militant or not.

Sources familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune that the militant was identified as Ihsanullah who has been involved in dozens of militancy acts across the Malakand division.

The charges levelled against Ihsanullah included attacks on sensitive government installations, targeting security forces, blowing up some buildings with explosives and planning attacks on law enforcement agency personnel.
