Zawahiri tells Muslims to target US, avenge ‘Imam of the Mujahideen’
SITE, quoting a video posted on jihadist online forums, said the new head of al Qaeda asking Muslims to "pursue" the United States over the killing of Bin Laden.
"America today is staggering... Follow it where you know it is, follow it to cut what remains of its corruption," said Zawahiri in the 12-minute video addressed to "Muslim brothers everywhere."
"Pursue America, which killed the 'Imam of the Mujahideen' and threw his body into the sea, and then captured his women and sons," he said about Bin Laden who was killed in a covert US raid in Pakistan on May 2.
Zawahiri, who took over as head of al Qaeda after the killing, also called on Muslims to wage an "intellectual" battle by using modern means of communications.
"The Muslim movement in general and the jihadi movement in particular should wage the battle of intellectual argument just as much as the battle of weapons," he said.
He also called for the implementation of Islamic Sharia law as a source of legislation in Tunisia and Egypt, where mass protests in both countries have toppled their autocratic rulers early this year.
Now Washington's most wanted man, Zawahiri was jailed for three years in Egypt for militancy and was implicated in the assassination of Egyptian president Anwar Sadat in 1981, and a 1997 massacre of tourists in Luxor.
Like Bin Laden, he has been in hiding since the United States declared its war on terror after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

So here is the real interesting thing, why such videos of Al-Qaida affiliates are always released by SITE. Its kind of strange that they seem to be the one getting these videos and their sources are always obscure, such as some extremist/jihadist forum on the internet. But again who am I kidding no one will ever ask these questions especially not the tribune, its editorial board is too busy sifting through all the I hate top10 of every thing crap. In this global economy, US is no more a separate entity, it's a part of the whole. Any damage to US will have effects on the whole world. Such messages just show that these terrorists are friends of no one.
Just rhetorics and strident statements are not going to work. Instead of waging war against America, Muslims should focus on getting modern education and spread message of peace and love across the world through their deeds.
The so-called clerics should urge the people to fight against terrorists and militants who are inflicting miseries to the common man at least daily.

Due to Al-Qaeda’s mentally sick policies and terrorists attacks on the World Trade Centre and Pentagon on 9/11, Muslims in the world are facing hardships and many problems.
Prior to 9/11, there were no problems for Muslims in the US or any where in any European Country. Due to Al-Qaeda’s mentally sick policies, today Muslims in the US and European Countries are facing a number of problems.
After the death of OBL, US is not going to leave the remaining Al-Qaeda terrorist and will hunt them wherever they are.
Muslims should not follow the instructions of another mentally sick leader of Al-Qaeda namely, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who is wanted in the US and other European Countries for their alleged terrorists activities.

This is not only bad news for the US, but also for Pakistan. The US once threatened to do whatever is necessary against al-Qaeda or its affiliates once a terrorist attack on its soil is traced back to Pakistan, where Zawahiri is allegedly hiding.
