LANDI KOTAL:

Over three hundred Afghan students arrived to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Landi Kotal town late Tuesday night via the Torkham border.

Pakistani authorities have provided special treatment to the students on their overnight arrival.

Deputy Commissioner Khyber district, Mansoor Rashid and Assistant Commissioner Ashrafuddin oversaw the treatment meted out to the Afghan students by the border officials during their special immigration process.

All the students were transported to their allocated educational institutions after a health team conducted their Covid tests.

More Afghan students are expected to arrive in the country within the next few days and they would be transported to educational institutions in Abbottabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar via special transport.
