Five bodies found in Bannu

Police have started investigation

BANNU:

At least five people were killed mysteriously by unidentified miscreants in different parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district on Tuesday. Police said that they were informed about the presence of five bodies in the matter of a few hours in different parts of Bannu.

A man, identified as Naeem Shahzada, was found dead in Bazaar Ahmad Khan. He had been shot dead and his body had been dumped in fields.

In Mira Khel, two bodies were found by locals in a similar manner. By the same token, one body each was found in Hati Khel and Masoomabad Chowk. Police said that Naeem Shahzada was a volunteer of Covid Tiger Force and he had no personal feud.

“In total, nine people have been killed in the district but in four cases the attackers have been nominated while in the five cases bodies have been found in a mysterious manner,” said a police official while talking to The Express Tribune.

He said that police had registered FIR in all the cases and the bodies were sent for an autopsy. All of the five men had been shot and police had started an investigation into the case.
