Hira Mani's father passes away, actor shares heartbreaking post

The 'Meray Paas Tum Ho' actor's husband and host Mani announced the unfortunate news on Saturday.

Popular actor Hira Mani’s father, Syed Farukkh Jamal, passed away on Saturday. The unfortunate news was shared by her husband and actor Salman Sheikh, better known as Mani, on his social media.

"It is with great and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Hira's father Syed Farukkh Jamal,” he wrote on Facebook. “Namaz e Janazah will be held today after Maghreb namaz at Taimuriah Masjid Hydri, North Nazimabad. Hira and Mani,” he added.

The cause of death was not specified but Hira and Mani’s friends and family were requested to join them to bid farewell to the deceased. Following the announcement, the Meray Paas Tum Ho actor also shared a heartbreaking note on Instagram. She uploaded a post her late father had shared on his social media reading, “Death is the gateway to a new life, so be careful. Don’t do anything bad to others and secure your new life after death.”

In the caption she wrote, “Mere abbu ki bohat achi achi baatien thien waqtan fawaqtan app sub se share kerti Rahungi Insha’Allah (I’ll keep sharing the valuable advices my father would give with you guys every now and then).”

Many celebs took to the comment section of her post to offer their condolences. “Hira Allah apko sabr ata farmay aur uncle k darjaat buland farmay, (May God grant you patience and raise the status of your father in the hereafter),” wrote Saba Faisal. Actor and host Ahsan Khan commented, “Hira bohat afsos hua (so sorry to hear this). Allah Paak unke darjaat buland kare.” Nadia Hussain also sent her prayers.
