Covid shows signs of receding in KP

PESHAWAR:

The daily average Covid-19 positivity ratio has dropped considerably to 3.2 percent across the province despite the fact that in some districts it is still as high as 16% and in others no case has been reported.

Talking to The Express Tribune an official of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Health Department said that there was a considerable drop in the positivity ratio on day to day basis and the number of active cases had also dropped to 7,124.

He claimed that the highest positivity ration had been recorded in Koat at 16% and in Malakand at 16 percent. Similarly, in Buner the ratio was 11%, Mardan 10%, and Chitral Lower nine percent.

In two districts Peshawar and Swabi it was 5.5%. By the same token in 16 districts, no cases had been reported.
