Roadshow organised to revive PSM

The best possible investors will be shortlisted through a transparent process

Federal Minister for Privatization Mohammad Mian Soomro on Monday inaugurated the roadshow for national and international investors to liaise with international investors to revive Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).

The roadshow will continue till September 21. Several key federal government figures participated in the event including the federal secretary, senior officers of the ministry, financial advisers and investors.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Soomro said that the interest of international investors in the rehabilitation of Pakistan Steel Mills was encouraging. He said that various national and international companies have shown their keen interest in the rehabilitation project.

He further said that according to the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, maximum information is being provided to the interested investors.

On the first day, two international investment companies and potential investors were briefed about the revival of PSM.

In the end, the best possible investors will be shortlisted through a transparent process.
