A total of 89 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Faisalabad during the last 24 hours, according to the spokesperson of the health department.
On Sunday, as many as 1,887 coronavirus tests were conducted in public and private sector labs to ascertain infection in individuals as per the official data of the department.
“The total number of active cases in Faisalabad surged to 1,491, while 22,843 patients have recovered from the disease,” the spokesperson confirmed.
He said that 339 beds have been allocated in the Allied Hospital, 133 in the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and 150 in the Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad for the pandemic inflicted citizens.
He further revealed that currently 252 patients are under treatment in Allied Hospital, 96 in DHQ Hospital and 58 in General Hospital.
