Rupee weakens against dollar

On September 2, Pakistani rupee became the worst-performing currency in Asia

KARACHI:

The rupee weakened against the US dollar at Rs167.66 in the inter-bank market on Thursday compared with Wednesday’s close of Rs167.25, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

On September 2, 2021, Pakistani rupee became the worst-performing currency in Asia from the world’s best performer as it hit a 13-month low against the US dollar.
