Teenager held for minor boy’s rape after medical examination confirms assault

The police arrested three suspected rapists in separate cases on Tuesday.

A teenager allegedly raped a four-year-old boy on the premises of a private school in North Nazimabad. According to the FIR lodged on the complaint of the minor’s father, teenager Sameer, whose father Afsar works as the gatekeeper of the school, raped four-year-old Z* when the child went inside the school to retrieve his tennis ball.

The complainant, who is a rickshaw driver, said that they live near the school and his minor son was playing outside with other children when his tennis ball went inside the school. On August 29, the complainant said his wife called him to say the minor was crying relentlessly. He rushed home to find the child distressed and after a while Z* told them that the watchman’s son had molested him when he entered the school premises to fetch the ball. The complainant accused Sameer of raping his minor boy.

The family claimed that the police delayed the lodging of the FIR.

Taimuria SHO Farzan said that medical examination of the child confirmed rape, after which the case was lodged and the accused teenager was arrested. A policeman was also reportedly detained for mistreating the survivor’s family.

Teenage boy raped at gunpoint

Separately, the SITE Superhighway Industrial Area Police arrested two suspects on charges of raping a teenage boy.

The complainant, the survivor’s mother, stated in the FIR that her 18-year-old son had gone to a motorcycle repair shop near Khayyam stop in North Karachi’s Sector 5E. The mechanic, Asif alias Billi alias Sanjay, asked her son to accompany him to Allah Walla Chowrangi to purchase motorcycle parts and then dropped him off outside an estate agency in Scheme 33, said the complainant.

Two boys, identified as Noor Muhammad and Amir, forcefully took her son inside and raped him at gunpoint, said the complainant, adding that Asif returned after a while and took her son back to the repair shop.

According to the FIR, Asif told the survivor that he was assaulted at the behest of his friend Mubashir and threatened him against telling anyone or they would release the video of the rape on social media. The complainant said her son informed her of the incident the next day and she headed to the police station.

The medical examination of her son confirmed sexual assault, said the police, adding that the case was lodged and Asif and Noor have been arrested while raids are underway to arrest the other suspects.
