Netflix has finally announced the release date of the third season of its fan favourite, You. The Penn Badgely crime thriller will hit the streaming giant on October 15. A new clip of the latest installment of You has been unveiled showing that the couple has welcomed their baby. Joe Goldberg unveils the name of his and his partner Love's new son: Henry.

"Let's just say, I'm hoping you'll do as I say and not as I do," he can be seen saying in the clip, as his aproned self prepares ingredients for a celebratory cake. "Choosing your name is the first of a lifetime of decisions I'll make to give you the best life possible. To protect you, to shape who you will become. Who are you going to be?"

You follows bookstore manager-turned-serial killer Joe Goldberg (Badgley) as he pursues different love interests. It is loosely based on Caroline Kepnes’ bestselling novel of the same name, which premiered on Netflix in December 2018.

In season two of the psychological thriller, Joe moved from New York to Los Angeles where he met a new subject of desire, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). The two quickly bonded over the fact that they were both grieving a recent loss. While plot details have yet to be announced, season three will presumably pick up where season two left off: Love pregnant with Joe's child.
