An additional district and sessions court has extended the bails of Mufti Shahnawaz Ahmed, the principal of a madrasa, and a female teacher in a molestation case until tomorrow (Wednesday).
Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Ijaz Asif has sought DNA reports of the prime suspect and the victim from the investigation team. Civil Judge Nasar Mehmood Gondal has recorded the statement of the victim.
When the judge started the hearing, he asked the investigation team about the DNA report. The investigation officer (IO) presented a medical report which the court rejected. The judge adjourned the hearing till September 1 and ordered to submit DNA and full inquiry reports on the next date.

According to the police, DNA tests have not been conducted yet. After this hearing, the investigation team took the victim to the court of Civil Judge Nasr Mahmood Gondal where her statement was recorded.
The student's mother, Rubina Gul, was also present in the court but the judge sent everybody out at the time of recording the statement.
The student stated that the madrasa principal had raped and threatened her to kill. The victim said she was given drugs while the female teacher forced her to cooperate with the principal.
She also lodged a complaint against the attitude of the police. After recording the statement, the civil judge sent a copy of the statement to the district and sessions judge.
