ISLAMABAD:

Polyclinic Hospital Islamabad will soon have two bed elevators worth millions of rupees.

According to Polyclinic spokesperson Dr Abdul Jabbar Bhutto, the two important bed elevators had been imported to Karachi from Spain and they will soon be transported to the federal capital to install them in the hospital. He said that the bed elevators will be installed in the hospital within a week. The spokesperson said that one elevator will be installed in the CCU (cardiac care unit) and the other in the labour room.

The spokesperson said that two elevators installed in the hospital had developed a fault, owing to which the health facility was facing immense problems in ferrying patients from the operation theatre to various wards and vice versa.
