Bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Pakistan would strengthen further in different fields, which would be mutually beneficial for the people of both countries, said Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam. Talking to Qatar Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Friday, he said that Pakistan had immense agricultural capacity that could allow it to enhance exports. Both sides discussed the scope of agricultural trade between the two countries. Imam said that cooperation among countries at every level needed to be increased if the world wanted to move towards sustainable and nature-friendly development. He stressed that the future was in the hands of the youth, hence their quality of education should be on a par with world standards. He welcomed and appreciated the 10 fully covered scholarships offered by Qatar to Pakistani students. The ambassador, on behalf of the Qatari Ministry of Municipality and Environment, extended an invitation to Imam to attend the “Horticulture Expo 2023 Doha”.
