PESHAWAR:

Border officials handed over 126 Afghan refugees to the Afghan authorities earlier on Saturday morning.

These Afghan refugees were apprehended by Peshawar police on Friday in connection with hurling stones at police, damaging public properties and disruption of public order.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Afghan refugees were celebrating Youm-e-Istehsal in Phase three Square which disrupted the traffic flow and resulted into a verbal conflict that lead to violent skirmishes between locals and Afghan nationals due to which few vehicles got damaged and some persons also sustained injuries.

Reeba | 3 years ago | Reply Pak has taken more than its share of Afghan refugees since the past few decades but seldom any one speaks about them . Time for them to put their foot down and refuse to take any more . What about other muslim brethren . They should do their share.
