A teenage boy was allegedly gang-raped in the city on Saturday.
According to the police report, the 17-year-old nephew of Khalil Ahmed, a resident of Sammundri Road 243 RB, was lured by the suspect Hasnain and his accomplices and taken to the fields where they gang-raped him.
Meanwhile, a woman and a minor girl thwarted rape attempts in separate incidents in the city.

According to the police report, the accused Sunny tried to sexually assault a nine-year-old who was returning from school in Adam Chowk area of Ghulam Muhammadabad.
However, the minor girl thwarted the rape attempt by making noise, which caught the attention of locals.
