A 25-year-old girl was sexually assaulted twice by her elder brother in Malakand division of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district.
While filing a police report at the Madian Police Station, the victim reported that her elder brother took her to Kalam for a tour on August 9 and sexually abused her forcibly in a hotel room the following night.
The unfortunate incident took place again on August 15 when her predator brother took her to Madian and sexually assaulted her younger sister again.
According to sources familiar with the matter, her brother asked the girl to accompany her on another trip after a few days but this time she informed her sister and brother-in-law of the heinous acts committed by her brother upon which they reported the incident to Levies Malakand Centre.
Levies officials urged the family to register a case against the accused person at Swat Police Station as the area where the crime was committed fell under their jurisdiction.
The victim also informed the police that she did not report the incident in the first place for fear of her life and honour.
The police have dispatched a team to Malakand to ensure prompt arrest of the girl’s brother who has been nominated in the first information report.
