The sister of the bride or groom has the license to go all out and while it’s a great opportunity to dress to the nines, it is important to keep in mind that the goal is to never try and outshine the bride on her big day.
Thus, here are five celebrity sisters that fulfilled their chief bridesmaid duties and looked positively stunning while doing so!

Saboor Aly

We absolutely adored Saboor’s choice of colour for her sister Sajal’s grand Mehendi event. The starlet shined in a gorgeous green lehenga-choli with minimal embellishments. The look brimmed with old school charm, especially when paired with understated makeup. The loosely tied hair adorned with traditional jewellery elevated Saboor’s overall appearance, as she carried it all with a big smile.

Sonam Kapoor

The most recent addition to this list, Sonam, stunned at her sister Rhea Kapoor’s wedding. The actor went for a mint green peshwas, complimented by a powder pink dupatta. The oversized tika stood out, thanks to the neat, slicked-back hair. Sonam went for a gorgeous green and gold choker with matching earrings. The dull gold embroidery kept the outfit from seeming too bridal, and the pazaib she adorned around her ankles was easily our favourite!

Aima Baig

Aima made headlines during the recent opulent wedding events of her sister Komal Baig. However, our favourite look from the festivities was her nikkah look, in which she donned a regal red saari. The velvet blouse was perfect for a winter wedding, and the singer kept warm with a dark brown shawl that complimented the outfit flawlessly. With smokey eyes and tied back hair, Aima outshined everyone!

Minal Khan

Twins Minal and Aiman love to sport matching outfits, and the case was no different at the latter’s grand wedding ceremony. Aiman dressed in a fully-embellished pink bridal outfit, with Minal donning an almost identical, save for colour and fewer embellishments, dress in mint green. The actor kept her look from seeming too bridal by opting for silver jewellery, as opposed to her sister’s gold choker and earrings.

Naimal Khawar

Naimal knows exactly how to make a fashion statement. Thus, for the Mehendi function of her sister Fizza Khawar, Naimal was seen in a vibrant lehenga, a classic Nomi Ansari ensemble, with sleek hair and traditional jewellery that amped up the entire look.

The Instagram-favourite then went for a royal look at the main event, dressed in a stunning and detailed peshwas lehenga made of maroon velvet. The dress featured traditional sequins, patterns and embellishments. Naimal paired the outfit with soft evening makeup.
