Man kills brother over property dispute

Deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital

KARACHI:

A man opened fire at his brother on Thursday, killing him over a property dispute near Superhighway.

In a similar incident in Surjani Town, another man shot and injured his brother over a domestic dispute.

According to the police, Nasir Khan, 35, son of Bota Khan, was shot and killed in a house located near Jamali Flyover in the limits of SITE Superhigway Police Station. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Based on initial investigation, the police said that the man was shot and killed by his brother, Rasheed, over a property dispute. Rasheed fled the site after the crime, said the police.

The deceased hailed from Mohmand Agency and worked as a mason in Karachi. He was the father of five. The police have lodged a case and launched further probe. The search for Rasheed was underway.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident Ahmed Ali, 32, son of Sher Muhammad, was shot and injured by his brother in Surjani Town. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police said Ali was shot by his brother over a domestic dispute.

Meanwhile, Sachal police arrested a father-son duo for robbing a biker on Jamali Bridge on Super Highway. The suspect Rasheed had opened fire when the motorcyclist offered resistance. However, the bullet hit Rasheed’s son. They were arrested when they came for medical treatment at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
