ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development and Administration Division (CADD) formally announced on Sunday, to extend the summer vacation for all the educational institutions till September 4, the CADD confirmed.
The decision was taken with the holy month of Ramazan in mind. The department informally conveyed the news to teachers and students who left Islamabad for the summer. CADD did not issue formal notifications before August 14 to ensure the presence of local teachers and students in the celebrations, though they have been told about the extension from August 14.
