LAHORE:

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would soon be divided into ‘N’ and ‘S’ leagues as both factions are at loggerheads for their respective interests.

Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, Dr Awan said Maryam Safdar was playing the role of agent provocateur to “snatch party from her ageing uncle” but she has forgotten that voters are disgruntled with the Sharif family and they have already expressed their distrust over the PML-N narrative in the Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Sialkot elections.

She said the PML-N had been uprooted in Sialkot as people are fed up with this party. “The political circus of Maryam Safdar has ended by political mercenaries and voters have refused to give the vote to the PML-N which always speaks against the country. The disgust of the people for the PML-N is visible in every constituency,” she said, adding “I along with Ahsan Saleem Baryar and the PTI leadership have dented the PML-N fort in Sialkot.”

“The battle between the crafty uncle and equally stubborn niece is in full pace which will ultimately result in their mutual destruction.”
