KARACHI:

Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh lashed out at the Pakistan Peoples Party-led Sindh government on Tuesday, decrying corruption and worsening law and order in Sindh.

Addressing a press conference outside the Sindh Assembly building, Haleem said change was inevitable in Sindh because the corrupt PPP rulers had become a security risk for the province and its people. He accused the Sindh chief minister of planning to flee to Canada if he was ousted from office and alleged that the CM was amassing wealth from drug traffickers and police officials involved in the lucrative business of drug dealing.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA said the crime rate has increased in every part of the province and instead of maintaining law and order police officials were engaged in selling narcotics. The PTI leader said that people “with stainless political careers” like Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim were going to join his party in coming days.
