Cabinet to mull over 20-point agenda today

Agenda to include political situation in country; National Cyber Security Policy to also be presented

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday (today) which will mull over a 20-point agenda including the political situation in the country.

The National Cyber Security Policy will be presented in the meeting. The cabinet will approve the inclusion of new rules in FIA's crime schedule while CDA chairman will present a report on the removal of encroachments in the federal capital.

The cabinet will approve the extradition of two accused Naseem Ghauri and Ghulam Shabbir to the UAE and will approve the National Advertising Policy 2021. It will be briefed on the electronic voting machines and granting voting rights to the overseas Pakistanis.

The cabinet will approve the import of four ambulances donated by Japan and the Bilateral Investment Treaty.

A draft law will be tabled at the meeting to bring an end to unnecessary business regulation along with the directions issued in the Islamabad High Court's writ petition No 244.

The cabinet will also take up the issue of dual citizenship with the Czech Republic and will endorse the appointment of Korangi Fishing Harbor Authority managing director.
