Fawad welcomes PML-N’s notice to member seeking India’s help
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Monday asked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to issue a show-cause notice to party supremo Nawaz Sharif in the same manner that they issued it to a party member who made controversial remarks during elections in AJK a day earlier.
"Ahsan Iqbal sb has issued a notice to a political orphan over his statement wherein he had sought help from India," Fawad said.
"How good would it be if the executive committee of PML-N could issue a show-cause notice to Nawaz Sharif over his meeting with the anti-Pakistan and pro-India Hamdullah Mohib and inquire about the occurrence," he added.
Earlier, the PML-N issued a show-cause notice to Ismail Gujjar, the party candidate contesting elections from the LA-35 constituency of AJK.

"A statement given by you appeared on electronic media in which you have irresponsibly stated that you will seek help from India for your election," read the notice issued by PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal.
"You are hereby called to show cause as to why action should not be taken against you for issuing this statement."
The notice further directed that Gujjar should respond to the show cause notice within seven days, failing which strict disciplinary action will be taken against him.
The candidate had made the remarks during the polls yesterday, inviting rebuke from all quarters of the country.
Subsequently, the aforementioned notice was issued by the PML-N, asking the candidate to explain his action or face action.
