Boy ‘molested’ in Chak Jhumra

Suspect called victim on pretext of buying potato cutlets from him

CHAK JHUMRA:

A 10-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted in Chak Jhumra on Sunday.

According to police, the son of Hussain sells potato cutlets in Nishatabad Small Estate area. The complainant informed the police that suspect Mohammad Hamza Khan called the boy on July 24 on the pretext of buying cutlets from him, but sexually assaulted him.

Nishatabad police registered a case against the suspect under Section 377 PPC and started searching for him.

Last week, a young girl was allegedly sexually assaulted.

According to the police report, the girl was assaulted when she was taking food for her father, a resident of Chak No 36/4L, Okara, who was working in the fields.

The young girl was on her way when the suspect identified as Rashid allegedly grabbed her and forcibly took her to a nearby location. Rashid allegedly sexually assaulted the young girl. Shahbhoor police registered a case against the suspected rapist.

On February 28, a woman was sexually assaulted in Chak Jhumra.

On January 21, it was revealed that a teenage girl became pregnant after allegedly being raped by unknown persons in Chak Jhumra. The 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by unknown persons who abandoned her when her condition deteriorated.
