After paying tribute to Madam Noor Jehan, Mahira Khan and Sridevi, actor Ayeza Khan's is honouring Bollywood's star Madhuri Dixit with her recent photos.
The Chupke Chupke actor is channelling her inner Madhuri for the latest look of her upcoming drama serial, Lapata. Sharing pictures from the shoot, Ayeza went on to pen a heartfelt note for one of India’s most popular actors and an exceptional dancer.
“’Eik Do Teeeeeen… Or Dev Babuu!’” she started off saying. “This is exactly what comes to my mind every time I hear the name Madhuri Dixit. When you look at her, you feel that Dil To Pagal Hay. Oh what an exciting time that was,” she added in the caption of her post.
“We have been blessed to see and dance along to Madhuri Dixit. What a phenomenal dancer and what an amazing actor, who could shake your heart with just a tear in her eyes,” added Ayeza accurately.
She went on to claim that it was a dream of hers to be able to dress up like Madhuri. “I wish I could meet her and let her know, how beautiful she is, and how she had been such a huge inspiration for me throughout my career and how she would rejuvenate my love for the screen every time I watched one of her movies! This one is for you my love,” concluded the Meharposh star.
Previously, Ayeza had honoured India's dream girl by recreating one of her iconic looks with a yellow saree. She wrote alongside the photos of the recreation, "'Teray meray honton pe… meethay meethay geet mitwa…' Amongst so many of my favourite actresses, Sridevi has and will always be on the top. It's a pity that she left us so soon. An inspiration for me as an actress and a mother. [I’m] so grateful to be a part of this project that gave me a chance to enjoy a little part of all my favourite icons. Something I have never done, and never wondered I could do.”
Prior to this, Ayeza attempted to embody Malika-e-Tarannum for the same serial, and also recreated Mahira Khan's popular avatar from her film, Superstar.
