Planning Minister Asad Umar took a jibe at Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Monday for flouting Covid-19 protocols during the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) rally in Swat on July 4.
Taking to the micro-blogging website, Twitter, the minister questioned whether Shehbaz, who is also the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was only willing to do something positive for the country if he was in power.
“Shahbaz sharif in his NA speech lectured about amazing things he would have done to stop covid if he was in power. (The) Least he can do is not do[ing] jalsas with thousands of people as he did in swat yesterday,” the minister said in the tweet.
