Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday was discharged from a private hospital in Karachi after being treated for a week.
Maulana Fazl later reached Binori Town Mosque to offer condolence on the demise of prominent scholar Maulana Abdur Razzaq Iskander, president of the Wafaqul Madaris Al-Arabia.
The JUI-F chief met Razzaq's son Maulana Saeed Iskander, Maulana Salman Banori, Maulana Imdadullah, Maulana Talha Rahmani and others during his visit.

While getting discharged from the hospital, the doctors and staff bade farewell to Fazl with prayers and bouquets. The PDM chief also wrote farewell remarks in the hospital's impression book.
At the time of departure, Maulana Fazlur Rehman was accompanied by Central Secretary General of JUI-F Sahibzada Shah Muhammad Owais Noorani Siddiqui, Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro, Qari Muhammad Usman, Maulana Asjad Mahmood, Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro and others.
He later left for Islamabad from Karachi with other prominent party leaders.
